FAQ

Budgets, totals, currencies, downloads and everything in between.

Create your account
  • No. If you can remember what you bought and how much it cost, you can use Veyra. There are no ledgers or debits and credits, just your expenses, your budget and clear totals.

  • Yes. Add as many as you like for any day. The Add Expense page has a 'Save and add another' button so you can record a whole day of spending in one go, and the calendar shows each day's total.

  • You choose how much you plan to spend in a month, for example ₦200,000. Every expense dated in that month is subtracted automatically, so you always see the remaining balance, the percentage used and a safe amount to spend per day. You can set a different budget for each month, or one default amount for all of them.

  • Yes. You will see a warning once you have used 80% of a month's budget, and a clear alert if you go over it. You can change the warning level in Monthly Budgets.

  • Every expense is saved against the exact date you enter. An expense dated in January counts towards January and that year's total, one dated in February counts towards February, and so on through December. Changing the year shows only that year's records and totals.

  • Nigerian naira is the default, and you can choose another currency in Settings. Changing it changes how amounts are shown; it does not convert amounts you have already recorded.

  • Yes. Download your expenses for any date range as a CSV or Excel file, and download monthly or annual summaries as a PDF from the Reports, Annual Overview or monthly report pages.

  • If you want to look around before entering your own spending, you can add a set of sample expenses with one click. Every sample is marked "Demo", and you can remove them all at once from the dashboard or Settings without touching anything you recorded yourself.
